The greeting personnel will wait for you just when you get off the airplane. They will accompany you during the process of customs, having priority over the rest of passengers, because all the time the personnel will be right besides you. Cuba's furthest Western town of Maria La Gorda (Literally translated; Maria de fat one) is no stranger to tales of Sunken Galleons, merchant ships nor treasure. After all, it happens to be the place with more shipwrecks than any other location in the Caribbean, even the Bermuda Triangle! Nevertheless, these nautical mishaps, however macabre, have placed this area high on the list for avid divers from around the world. This is the best diving you will get in Cuba, we promise! Day 1: Warm welcome at Jose Marti Int'l Airport by GoCubaPLUS team member. Transfer to hotel. Check in, relax and explore the city at your own pace. Take a walking tour of Havana or call us for over 100 personalized tours Visit the colonial sections, declared by UNESCO as a world's cultural heritage site, with its squares, fortresses and mansions built by the Spaniards in the 16th-19th centuries. Stop on the way to see the Arms Square, Cathedral Square, the Morro Castle, La Bodeguita del Medio, El Floridita, The National Capitol and the Museum of the Revolution. Return home early for tomorrow's early start for your chauffeured drive to Maria La Gorda. Day 2: 160 Minute chauffeured drive, due west, straight through the center of rural Cuba and Pinar Del Rio to Maria La Gorda. Take advantage of the abundant and, ideal photo spots along the way. Arrive and check-in at your hotel at around 12 pm and wander onto the beach for your first day at your diving center! Day 2, 3, 4: The package includes 6 separate dives, meaning that, essentially, you could be underwater in different locations at almost any time during your stay! The abundance of dive sites and varied locations will astound even the most hardened diver. Day 4: Early evening Return to Havana and, the Hotel Plaza. Spend the last night discovering new nightlife or simply relax at the rooftop bar . The choice is yours.
